Asuma has aged well, but the fact that he is older than some shows in his numerous gray hairs he has in his hair and beard. His hair is a few inches long, and is brown, which is straight up. His beard is full, yet he tries to keep it tame every now and then. His look is usually stern, and his look is usually one of insinuation, like someone was about to do something right in front of him. His eyes however, show kindness and understanding. His eyes are a sea blue, and seem to have a depth to them. Asuma wears a long, black leather thrench coat, and keeps his naginata strapped to his back at all times. His pants are long and brown, and he wears black boots.
Personality: Asuma is usually quiet and to himself, due to the fact that he lost his wife in a Sin attack. Since then he keeps to himself, only talking to Kat when he is with her. When around others, however, he uses grunts, motions, and looks to tell them how he is feeling, or what he wants them to do. Because of this he is seen as antisocial and demanding, but in reality is only reserved. Asuma can be a little overprotective, though, and can cause Kat to go crazy with his rantings. He feels that he still needs to watch over Kat, although she is old enough to make decisions for herself, and sometimes makes decisions for her. He can be threatening, sometimes seen giving death looks or reaching for his naginata when he is angry or is annoyed.
Bio: Asuma grew up in Bevelle, a promising blitzall star. For years he played, until he met a woman; his would be wife. After he met her, he played blitzball less and less, spending more time with her. Eventually, he gave up the game, and married his wife, a white mage. They lived together for years, and even had a daughter. But one day, Sin attacked Bevelle, and Asuma fled with their daughter, Kat, trying to escape. He tried to find his wife, but he never did. So he left Bevelle, going to Luca for a short time. After a while, he longed to see Bevelle again, and finally returned with Kat. There he found the grave that held his wife. It was then he decided to stay, and made a life once again in Bevelle. After a few years, however, Kat moved out, and Asuma stayed. After a while, he decided to go to Besaid, where Kat had moved, and stayed, making a house not far from her.
Battle:
Asuma, over the years, has learned many things, from both people and fiends. In battle, he carefully picks the places he will strike with swings of his long naginata, and uses his blue magic to attack them from short or long range. His strength comes from his knowledge of battle, and he has something the others don’t. Asuma uses Blue Magic, learned over the years from fighting both fiends and mages, using them to his maximum ability when he needs to.
Weapon: 
Overdrive: Triple Jump/Combo
Triple Jump is a combo mostly used on stronger foes, to either finish them off, or to greatly hinder them. The attack starts off with Asuma using the naginata as a pole, sticking it into the ground and using it to jump into the air. He keeps a hold of the pole, and then points it downward at the foe. He stabs the foe once, and then breaks the naginata in half, stabbing the broken pole part into the enemy. He then jumps off the foe, and takes the remaining blade and pole, and breaks the rest of the pole off, coming down once again and stabbing the enemy. He jumps one final time, taking what remains of the pole, holding it so where the blade it pointing down, and stabs the foe in the back of the neck. When the attack is over, he grabs the pieces of the naginata stuck into the enemy and uses petrify to put the naginata back together.
Combo is a move where three of any blue magic Asuma knows can be used at the same time. These three spells can either be very harmful, like decimating an enemy, or extremely helpful to the group, where he could heal all wounds, or greatly increase their chances of winning._________________  |
