Name: Cino Mylar
Race: Human
Hometown: Unknown
Age: 23
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 150
Appearance:

Traditionally wears a black kimono under his long khaki colored trenchcoat. This trenchcoat however contains odd properties allowing its colors to shift from various hues of any color. Its said to indicate his mood, however there is no proof to it. He adorns long red hair that he wears freely down to his neck. He wears a pair of black gloves that are thick with a star engraved onto them. The star is a sky blue in color and seems to glow on occassion. He wears typical dark black boots and sometimes wears some straw sandals.
Cino's emerald green eyes shine with determiniation and other traits as he makes eye contact with people. His eyes however also show calm and compassion. He wears a white bandanna on his head to hide a scar from a history he wishes not to speak of. He has rarely taken it off and shown people only who he is truly close to.
Battle:
Cino tends to begin fighting without using his sword to gauge his opponent’s fighting strength. During this time, he will use a combination of magic to keep the opponent at bay and perhaps even reeling from him. His fighting style is rather unique to him as he prefers to use multiple combination attacks that involve him throwing his sword away, only to catch it later and continue fighting.
Typically, a combo involving this strategy will involve a direct toss of his sword into the air. He then uses an offensive or defensive magic attack depending on the situation at hand. Either way, once the magic attack has completed, his sword will be within grasp by then and will follow up with a series of attacks as his opponent is trying to recover from the previous magic attack.
His strength is solid as he slices with his blade, even able to knock some off balance sometimes. He has a thorough form as he makes each parry and slash easily variable to a defensive or offensive position as he fights. He generally likes to keep light and fight with speed rather than pure strength though.
Personality:
Cino is a calm and collective person who doesn't share much with anyone. He keeps to himself and most of the time lets his actions speak for him. He doesn' make friends that fast since he's never been able to stay around people that long. He's not anti-social as one may think, however it is hard to keep him in one spot. He constantly day dreams when he's not doing something to keep himself busy. He's rarely opened up to anyone and keeps some sentimental treasures in his coat that remind him of those he kept close to him.
Most of the time Cino is quite blunt and almost arrogant to people he doesn't know or those he considers enemies to him. People on the outside may think he's a careless person, that is careless about everyone except himself. This is entirely not true as the few he has become aquainted with find him to be a totally different person once they know him. Theres a much softer side to him which would shock most people if they ever were around him long enough to find out.
Biography:
Cino doesn't remember or even try to think of his past, as most of it is a bit of a blur you could say. Perhaps the years he has taken to forget it is eventually paying off for him, but none the less he carries the memories still locked up somewhere in his mind. The only thing he can remember is that he had lived around airships for the most of his life, even though they were 'forbidden'. He wasn't truely brought up by his parents either, mostly by the crew of the ships he traveled on. He was constantly on the move from place to place as to avoid attacks by Sin. The constant anxiety wasn't much, but the threat was always looming in the air for the crew of the airships. A flickering memory is that of his father who he remembered trained him in the art of the sword. He always encouraged him to continue learning how to fight as he said it was a necessary 'talent'.
Over time, Cino began to learn the complete workings on airships. Eventually when the pilots needed to take a break, they would lend the controls over to him as he was an adept pilot. He always loved the sky and especially enjoyed flying the ships during the night. Well he didn't exactly like flying them, he enjoyed standing on the top deck of them and watching the stars. Stars seemed to be fleeting dreams somehow, always out of grasp. The concept seemed to always make him want to watch the sky while on the airships. Being on one just made him that much closer to the stars.
Even though his family on the various airships taught him various tasks to do aboard them, he never really found a friend to talk to. Most of the time he spent was either on the top deck of the ship or in his own little quarters, just trying to get away from everything. He didn't really care about what religion to follow, all that mattered was survival. That was it, nothing else.
The various places he traveled also gained him knowledge of many ordeals in Spira. He had always carried a sword with him since he started traveling, although he didn't remember how he got it. Perhaps it was from his younger days with his real family. It mattered not as it increased his knowledge of magic. The elemental blade allowed him to utilize some of the weaker elements, however with such a variety at his disposal, he could get out of any situation unless overpowered as the sword didn't specialize in one element. Sometimes when their crew would stop in a city for more than a few days, he would go around and try to find someone to teach him such magic, although it was very hard to.
Normally money was rather short, however they still made their living one way or another. Their main job was to travel and sell various items from all areas of Spira. While not the most profitable business, they made enough to get by and perhaps a little more. There was one girl however that also seemed to be as mysterious as him. He saw he every so often and wondered if it was fate that brought them together so much, however thought nothing of it.
