| Mieli stood his ground as the magic plasma dropped from above him. In a mere moment, he was completely enguled in the plasma. His sword was positioned in a high guard and began absorbing the plasma blast through its tip.
While the plasma was still in critical mass a what looked like a pyrefly seemed to spawn from Mieli's spine. It wasn't perceived by anyone except Mieli as he remained hidden by the plasma mass. He noticed quickly and regained his vitality by completely absoring the plasma blast.
When the magic cleared there was nothing but Mieli who's blade resumed moving in an over head slash into a dilapidated Kilika hut.
The ragnarok released the contained magic, but in a small focus area no larger than an average video sphere. It wasn't much of a sight, but it wasn't Mieli's strength with the sword that took down the hut, his swing was really nothing more than a gentle epic wave.
Mieli rocks the \m/!"It's a little slow on the physical end, but isn't it true that it is just timing that is everything?" _________________ Kaim Argonar owns you. |

Axel jumped off the ship and ran over to Kat, he didn't want to walk to the temple with Tif, he didn't know her enough to do that. As he ran over t her, he took in his surroundings to make sure there wasn't a fiend running in his direction. He also had his fists unto his face, in case if there was a fiend.

Kat was walking besides Asuma but she acctually had no idea where she was going. She was thinking about what happend, what she saw. Shinu had changed, before -she was sure- he wouldn't get so crazy to jump off the ship and let himself het so hurt and she still couldn't get rid of the image of the killed fiends... It happened suddenly, she was sure something here on Kilika was the reason. Of course everybody was shocked seeing Kilika destroyed, but only Shinu acted like that. She didn't like it. "He can be dangerous, not only to fiends, but to us all. Hope I am wrong..."She was thinking while almost not walking into a tree. She saw it in last second, but soon enough to turn and walk besides it. She took a chance and looked back at Shinu who was talking with Erk and Mieli. She looked back forward and was able to see the tip of the temple already. It was amazing that it was still there, even if the whole island was destroyed. As she looked back again she saw Axel running to her. She stopped to wait for him and took his hand. "Why are you not with Tif? It's dangerous here"

"Yes, yes, it's a very neat trick, but I don't see much practical use for it. A fiend that you're trying to slay would be upon you before you could even twitch that blade of yours. Interesting to examine the physics of the concept, of course. Now let's just hurry on... I need a nap... and one on a good, solid bed! Yevon knows what business someone in my years has trying to sleep aboard a sh................... shit." Erk whirled back towards the beach. "Did anyone see our boat's captain after I crashed it into the beach?! He fell over with me, I know it!"

". . . Yes, you're right. And I'm sure the captain will be fine on the beach by himself. There aren't anymore fiends, are there?" Erk turned back along the path and continued his trek.

Shinu studied the attack carefully, but wasn't able to see what Mieli did to control the magical power in his blade and concentrate it. That could come of real use despite Erk's ability to see what the practical use was. It doesn't have to be an offensive attack. Being a swordsman leaves you ultimately defenseless against elemental attacks. Absorbing and redirecting magic could prove useful. But we do need to get to the temple, if not for anything more than getting this young boy to safety again. I think we cleared up the fiends on the beach, so the captain should be fine. Now Shinu too saw the tip of the temple as they finally reached the bottom of the stone steps that were so hallowed by many Kilikans. Shinu started to ascend the steps one at a time while thinking of what he could say to the fayth at his home temple. _________________

(My posts may not be brilliant at the moment, the only way i can get on the internet is by using my mums work laptop, which i can only use for a limited amount of time, sorry guys.) Ialdo ran along the rafters of the temple, tracking his target. He'd had to kill a couple of the priests just to enter the temple and he had known it was only a matter of time before his target had realised someone was after him. Ialdo jumped off the rafters and landed, rolling forward. Another priest tried to block Ialdo, so he shoved the priest aside. Ialdo put on an extra burst of speed, caught up with his target and threw him to the floor. "You've got some debts to pay old man" Ialdo whispered in the priests ear. About to deliver the killing blow, the man flinched... Ialdo paused as he heard footsteps. He grabbed a knife from his belt, threw it at whoever was entering and...

The doorway exploded inward in a burst of sweeping , incandescent flame. The boiling air pounded back at Erk as he strode sure through the fire, crying out impossible words. Streams of crackling, sparking water spouted forth from a point of light in his forehead. They flowed flat in the air, as if running through an invisible riverbed. The deadly energy swept the would-be assassin off his knees and into a faded fresco etched into the wall. The plasma began smoking and cracking the tiles of the beautiful mural, as well as the man, with it's fury.

Ialdo slammed into the wall and cracked his head as he it. He stood up woozily and yelped as the floor beneath his feet crumbled, making it impossibly difficult to stand. He backflipped onto the statue of a deity which began to slowly fall to the ground. Ialdo grimaced and gripped the statue even harder as it fell. It eventually reached the ground and Ialdo stepped off the statue, panting. He drew his dagger and shouted at the unkown man, "And who the hell are you!? You have nothing to do with this!"
